Human Rights Objectives

The analysis will enable us to set clear and achievable human rights objectives. Is there a problem with the laws of the country?

For instance, are any of the laws used to prevent access to basic services by some people in the community? We can then develop an advocacy strategy to have the law changed.

Is the law appropriate but not implemented by government officials?

Do companies not hire certain ethnic groups, or do they make women workers labour in unacceptable and unhealthy premises?

Are the laws to punish landlords who ill-treat their labourers ever implemented?

These and all other factors you have identified enable us to establish the relevant objectives. We may not be able to tackle them all immediately but the comprehensive analysis enable us to set priorities for action and advocacy.
