Follow Up It is essential that the momentum gained by meeting with the donor officials not be lost. A report of the meeting with the demands you made should be sent to the officials within the week. The letter should politely ask for a response from the donor's government to the demands you made. After a decent interval this letter should be followed up with a phone call asking about the response. Do not allow too long before contacting the official again. It is easier for bureaucrats to do nothing but it becomes embarrassing for them if they are reminded too often that there has not been any progress with an inquiry. If there is still no response you might consider publicizing the fact.
