Rights: A Reflection Of All Belief Systems
All belief systems have been based on the dignity of the human person and all cultures have attempted to regularize through various means the relationship between the sovereign and his subjects. The international human rights framework that has evolved over the centuries and that found its eventual codification in the International Bill of Rights reflects these various belief systems, at the same time recognizing the increasingly complex institutions of modern society.
