Meeting Format

  2. PERSONAL SHARING
    This is not a time for discussion. Just listen to person speaking. Others may ask an occasional question of clarification. Ordinarily, do not speak for longer than three minutes. Sample questions that may help: (Choose no more than one question)

  • What have you observed of suffering in the past month? What might be its causes? What, if anything, were you able to do about this suffering?

  • Tell about an injustice that was done to you in the past month. What was your response?

  • Tell an experience you had last week of trying to live justly and responsibly. Where your are succesful? Why? Why not?

    What will be the area of specialization for each member?
    Examples:
    Environment, Pollution, Wages of part-time workers, Situation of Thai and Indonesian domestic workers on Cheung Chau, World hunger, Rights of patients in hospitals, Student examinations, TV violence, Education for justice and peace, Fishing boat women...
