Friends, Colleagues, Co-workers for a Just Peace, Between the dark and the daylight when Creation groans and the 99% awakens when Spring bursts forth in the deserts and landscapes change with comings and goings... Comes a pause in the endless labor a time to ponder and marvel God's favor - the promise of Christmas, the redemption of hope. "The Light shines in darkness." Emmanuel, God-with-us, in our human condition: the darkness of dehumanizing poverty, of violence and injustice, of alienation and powerlessness... reminding us of our capacity for hope and inherent compassion. May our hearts be an open manger, a square for God to Occupy.. Our lives aglow with healing, forgiveness And peace - God's love to glorify!
